Padre Azul Reposado is distilled from agave which is cooked slowly at low temperatures, meaning that it keeps more of those sweeter notes. After a double distillation, it's matured in oak bourbon barrels for at least eight months, before bottling at 38% ABV. Also, check out the stopper. It's literally a skull! (Well, not literally...)Exceptionally smooth, with lots of vanilla alongside the cooked agave notes, with overripe pear, orange peel and black pepper, leading into melted white chocolate.
