Up to 6 long years from Oak Forrest to Highland Distillary. That is how long it takes before sherry casks are finally ready to receive our spirit. However, the journey has just begun. Time and wood work together over the next quarter century- within the cool darkness of our traditional, earth-floored warehouse. From these casks we appoint only the best to become Glengoyne 25 year old. Then we bottle as taste insists, at 43% ABY. It is perhaps the perfect balance of elegant sherry oak, traditional skills and barley dried by air, never peat.
